First Year Fellows: Introduction to Wicked Problems LIMITED

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity seats available

The Center for Transformation will be hosting two sessions in April on Wicked Problems and how we can use them to frame the work students will do in First Year Seminar. Wendy Palmquist and Elisabeth Johnston will lead the first session on Tuesday, April 24th and Rachelle Lyons and Cathie LeBlanc will lead the second session on Friday, April 27th. You will learn how the process of working with Wicked Problems provides the framework for achieving the learning outcomes and goals of FYS, and how project based learning (PBL) can be applied more broadly across the curriculum.

New First Year Seminar Fellows will need to attend one of the April sessions and all faculty and staff interested in learning about Wicked Problems and PBL are encouraged to attend (the same content will be covered in each session). A recording of the second session will be made available for those whose schedules prevent them from attending.

Lunch will be served.
